Who We Are

Constantini is rooted in the heart of agribusiness—and an active part of safe food distribution throughout different supply chains. We buy, sell and move more than 100 of the world’s most essential agricultural commodities and ingredients – both conventional and certified organic.

In addition to industry staples, we work with niche commodities to bring our unique, specialized service to a wide variety of clients.

At Constantini, we invest in our people and our technology—meaning we have the capabilities of a large company and the personal touch of a family business.

Our Commitments

As the foundation of our solid reputation in agribusiness, our commitments set a benchmark of excellence for the way we do business.

Excellence in Service

Since 1980, we’ve been building genuine, lasting relationships with our clients—and tailoring our services to fit their needs. To us, their business is our business. We leverage our expertise in managing commodities and our large network of relationships across the industry, to create simple, effective solutions to complex and time-sensitive problems.

Trusted Experience

From farm gate to end user we have industry knowledge learned on the ground. Bonded and licensed by the Canadian Grain Commission, we guarantee payment and financial security to all our producers. Our business is founded on the principles of honouring our agreements, paying our bills and always following through on our word.

Progressive Outlook

Since 1980 we’ve led change in technology, developing our own software systems, custom-designed for our business. Whether it’s new, niche commodities to trade or novel solutions to old problems, we are constantly challenging ourselves to find improved ways to better serve our clients.

Our leadership team lives our vision to foster an energetic, driven and passionate atmosphere.

Our History

Building on a foundation of integrity, reliability and resourcefulness, Al Constantini founded C.B. Constantini in 1980. With a focus on service and a keen understanding of the market and needs of his clients, Al grew a business based on lasting relationships and sustainable value.

By the 1990s, the company had expanded into processing and handling, acquiring strategically located operating facilities in Western Canada.

Al’s unrelenting focus on innovation, passion for trading commodities, entrepreneurial instincts and market knowledge laid the foundation for the team to grow the business over the next two decades.

Second-generation visionary, Mike Constantini, is now directing the business towards its next chapter. The company’s guiding principles however remain the same: integrity, reliability and resourcefulness. Our growing and talented team is recognized in the industry for diligence and professionalism. Our positive attitude and dynamic, empowering culture continues to attract the best and the brightest. We are taking on the future of agribusiness.

We do what we say we are going to do, we honour our agreements, and we pay our bills.
