About the Opportunity

The Operations Administrator (OA) will primarily focus on the core administrative elements within our growing Logistics and Accounting divisions. Additionally, the OA will provide backup administrative support for the general office, reception, and HR functions.

Working closely with, and being mentored by senior members of our Team, you will:

  • Collect, print, and match source documentation on a daily basis: scale tickets, bills of lading, test results, etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into our proprietary software, including shipping weights and grades entry.
  • Proactively communicate with customers, vendors and other departments to confirm delivery status, resolve issues and provide clarifications.
  • Review, verify, and recognize variances in source data, and report any irregularities to management.
  • Assist accounting department with basic tasks such as: contract entry, bank deposits and A/P.
  • Provide relief support for reception, and other administrative staff as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis.


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative, data entry or billing role – preferably in a high-pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Must be task oriented and enjoy high volume of paperwork
  • Excellent comprehension and command of the English language – both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and ability to work with tight timelines.
  • Mathematically competent and enjoys working with numbers.
  • Strong keyboarding skills are essential for both speed and accuracy.
